Focusing on the Future of Small Business

We often spend so much time in the “now” that we as business owners fail to consider the future. With the Supreme Court decision upholding Obamacare, what will that mean to your business, how much profit will this take from your bottom line? What are you going to do about it? Are you going to reduce the number of employees that you have so that you can avoid paying 60% of your employee’s dependent care? Will you create multiple companies that each have less than 50 employees if that’s even an option, or will you suck it up and raise prices to compensate.  In order for us to succeed in business, we need to be both forward thinking and proactive in our approach to challenges. Sometimes the hardest thing for us to do, is take our eyes off where we are in the here and now and look toward the future and ask, how will changes today affect my business tomorrow?

The November election is critical to the future of our country and I think we are all aware of that. How you vote, and how many of your peers vote can sway the outcome of this coming election. Do you want more of the same reckless spending and higher taxes or do we put the country in the hands of a business man, and a successful political chief executive. The important thing is that we all make the time to go out and vote. Below are some related articles on the Obamacare decision.
